When driving at highway speeds, the transmission slips out of gear and the rpms go sky high and the car runs like it is in neutral. Had been losing mpg for about six months (went down from average 28 to 21) and dealer said could not do anything for me. Finally, engine light went on and brought car back to dealer who diagnosed a faulty oxygen sensor. Dealer ordered part and replaced sensor couple days ago.
