When i arrived home that night i thought i had left my lights on because my brake lights remained on. I checked my light switch and all my lights were off except for my brake lights. I looked up on the internet to see if there was any way to fix it and i found the recall on this particular item. *tr

Very sporadic (6-8 times over six months) continued acceleration at 2500+ rpm when foot is removed from accelerator pedal. No codes ever set; no information provided by engine history. Test drive by a trusted mechanic and a service rep from local hyundai dealer (most recent test drive 10/30/2013) could not reproduce the defect.
